The Wheatsheaf at Chilton Foliat is owned by Toby and Emma's son Ollie and his wife Lauren. They have taken over this wonderful pub with a grand vision of slowly regenerating it into a place full of flavour, music, art and fun. They are full steam ahead with plans to create a hub that offers delicious fairly priced food and drink, either local, organic or sustainable, live music with music studios, and an art gallery that can host gigs, parties or studios for artists. What’s more, their aim is to be the most sustainable pub in the UK.
Hungerford Park are happy to be working with The Wheatsheaf to provide organic and seasonal produce. We supply honey from the bees who live off wild flowers, crops and rich clover. We provide The Wheatsheaf with their meat, Hungerford Park lambs graze on protein rich meadows, and free range Oxford Sandy and Black pigs that enjoy organic fruit and veg in the woodlands. We also provide fruit and vegetables from the Walled Garden.
